We are excited to announce our second Open Disability Tournament/ have a go at lawn bowls day! It was a great success last year, so we are going to hold another one Sunday 23 April 2023. Thank you to Riccarton Racecourse Bowling Club who have put their name up to host this event on their artificial green.

Bowls New Zealand has established an Open Disability category and Bowls Canterbury supports this new initiative. We welcomeanyone with a disability that affects their bowling with the opportunity to enter. Under Bowls Zealand eligibility regulations, any individual who has any of the following can enter the Open Disability events. There are no age or gender restrictions.

The tournament will be from 10 am -2 pm ish and the length of the games will depend on entry numbers. The capacity of entry numbers is 64 individuals so please fill out the entry form https://forms.office.com/r/2JThgSTXJr Entries close on Wednesday 19 April at 5 pm. Entry is FREE. More details closer to the time. 

 We are also seeking sponsorship to run the tournament and for a few spot prizes so if you have any connections who would like to support this tournament please let us know.
