New Zealand Blind Lawn Bowling Association “have a go” events

Erica AyresNews

New Zealand Blind Lawn Bowling Association (NZBLBA) is hosting ‘Have a Go’ lawn bowls events in Dunedin, Christchurch, and Nelson. There will be three events hosted in each city.  These events will be targeting females with any disability to explore the sport of lawn bowls, have fun, and make connections with others within and outside their community. There will be supportive volunteers helping participants and coaching them through the basics of this wonderful sport.

The dates, times, and venues for the Dunedin and Christchurch events are listed below.  Each venue is very accessible for those with disabilities and is held at a welcoming club with great facilities.  It is recommended that participants wear comfortable clothes with flat soled shoes.  They will be able to borrow bowls from the host clubs.
