A wonderful day of bowls yesterday at the Darfield Bowling Club where town clubs (Elmwood Park, Canterbury 2017, Woodend, and Redcliffs Mount Pleasant) played our 4 country sub centres, Men and Women’s teams.

The green was very hard and fast resulting in some pretty amazing bowls and interesting heads during all the games. A lot of laughter and friendly competition ensued and it is probably safe to say everyone enjoyed the day, players and spectators alike.

Congratulations to the Town teams who have prevailed narrowly with 24 points and a +2 differential. A very close result indeed.
