About the Scholarship Lawn Bowls is an eligible sport under the Lincoln University Elite Sports Scholarship category. Applicants for the Elite Sports Scholarship are required to have competed at the National level in their chosen sport. Applications close on 15th August each year and are submitted via the online application portal MyLinc.nz. The Elite Scholarship provides up to $6,000 towards tuition fees or accommodation costs for the first year of study. Scholars are able to re-apply in subsequent years of study. In addition, the athletes also receive a comprehensive wraparound program, which includes access to mental conditioning coaches, nutritionists, physiotherapists, and sports conditioning experts.
