The Bowls Canterbury Centre Green was host to the Canterbury Regional Secondary School Champs, featuring some of Canterbury’s best up-and-coming bowls talent.

Jack Bonner (Cashmere High School, Barrington United) took out the top spot for the second year in a row.

Second Place was Jayden Owens (Burnside High School, Burnside Bowling Club) who was also the top points scorer overall.

Callum Lucas (St Thomas of Canterbury College) took out third place.

In between some heavy showers, the weather held off enough for five rounds of singles, then playoffs for the top qualifiers from each section.
