Bowls Canterbury called for submissions from individuals and clubs to have their input on the upcoming season's playing programme. A panel was selected to discuss these submissions, and they then submitted their recommendations to the Bowls Canterbury Event Manager, Katie Griffiths, and CEO, Mel Tukapua.
We received many names of personnel keen to be part of the panel, which did make it difficult in having to cut the list down.
The following people were selected and brought to the table a range of attributes in terms of roles they play not only in their club but in the Bowls Community in Canterbury.

Brian Barker was Chairman of the meeting, and Katie Griffiths was also present.
The panel met on Friday 3rd May to discuss the submissions and have submitted their recommendations to Bowls Canterbury Events Manager, Katie Griffiths, and CEO, Mel Tukapua.
