The New Zealand Disabled Bowls Nationals are being held at Kaiapoi Riverside this week and supporting greens, Papanui and Kaiapoi Club.

Monday and Tuesday saw the Singles Event take place, concluding with a thrilling final between Lynda Bennett and local man Frank Overend. Lynda proved too strong though taking the win 21-19.

Wednesday and Thursday will host drawn pairs. Results will be posted the following day.
