At the weekend our Canterbury Development Men's and Women's Teams traveled to Greymouth to play in a regional development fixture between; Buller, Canterbury, Marlborough, Nelson and West Coast.
The Men played at Blaketown Bowling Club and the Women at Cobden Bowling Club. Teams played five rounds throughout the weekend.
Each region varied in terms of Development Grade years. As Canterbury has done throughout the season; our Development grade remained at 5 playing years or under.
The overall results were very close in both grades.
In the Women's Section; Marlborough finished in top place with 8 wins, closely followed by our Canterbury ladies who had 7 wins - which was the same wins as the West Coast; but Canterbury beat them on differential. Nelson finished in 4th spot with 6 wins and Buller in 5th with 2 wins.
