Deane Robertson and his Director, Kevin Smith from the Burnside Club have today been selected in the New Zealand Blindjacks to play Australia in May 2020 at Port Macquarie, NSW. Robertson, who will make his international debut at the event, won the B2 Singles and was runner up in the B1/B2 Pairs at the Summerset Bowls NZ Championships recently completed in Christchurch. This is a great achievement for Robertson who has only been playing bowls for three years. He will play singles and mixed pairs in the three day test series.
